The Ranger, formerly known as the Outlaw, is a long-range cliff tower that can be purchased in the store for 8,500 and has a Level 15 requirement.
The Ranger deals high damage but has a slow firerate. However, it has long range to make up for this. It does not have hidden detection at any level. Because the Ranger is a cliff tower, it can detect flying enemies, as long as they are not hidden. At Level 3+, the Ranger can damage lead enemies. The Ranger is also very expensive. It is the most expensive tower to get to maximum level, slightly exceeding the Accelerator and Turret. Due to these reasons, it is considered a mid to late-game tower for harder difficulties.
