The Windows 10 June 8 th , 2021 updates listed below are being reported to cause printing problems with USB printers and may also cause some cash drawer to not close. Star Micronics is actively looking into this matter and directly working with Microsoft for prompt resolution.

The issues occurs under the following conditions:

Identified behavior.

Please right click on this icon and select “Printer Properties”.

Control panel will now open, under “Hardware and Sound” please open “View Devices and Printers”.
