The Mark V enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) is a legacy capable Class A terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS) designed for digitally equipped aircraft. The Mark V-A EGPWS is the newest variation.

Designed for aircraft equipped with digital avionics, the Mark V enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) exceeds Class A terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS) requirements and provides protection against controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) and windshear.

Pros: This is a multidirectional handheld scanner that can be programmed for any applications. It can scan all the various type of bar code in the industry. We are using this handheld scanner for to read serial number in micro QR code. These codes are very small and this scanner can read them flawlessly every time. Highly recommend.

The Honeywell Focus has reached end of life. Its replacement is the Xenon 1900.
