The Datamax EX2 thermal label printer is HoneyWell’s top-tier entry-level product for the thermal printer market. It prints labels as wide as 4.12″ with the print speed d of 3IPS.

The Honeywell WAVE2EX is an indoor alarm siren with a piezo sounder. What makes the WAVE2EX unique, is that it only draws 60mA when set to the low output and 110mA when set to the high output. This is an important feature as some Honeywell alarm control panels don’t have enough sounder output to power sirens that draw a lot of current. Honeywell specifically recommends the WAVE2EX siren in the L3000 LYNX Plus wireless alarm control panel installation guide. The L3000 bell output maxes out at 6-14VDC, 120mA. Therefore, many of the Honeywell alarm sirens will not work with the LYNX Plus wireless alarm control panel. However, the WAVE2EX is a perfect option as it doesn’t draw more than 110mA.

Just like other Honeywell WAVE Series alarm sirens, the WAVE2EX has a plastic enclosure with a hinged case design. This makes installation of the WAVE2EX as easy as possible. Simply snap open the case and let the front case swing down. Mount the back case to the wall and make all necessary wire connections before swinging the front case back up into place and snapping the WAVE2EX shut. The plastic enclosure allows you to mount the WAVE2EX flat on a wall, in a corner or even to the ceiling. The terminal block inside the alarm siren makes wiring connections easy as well. The case back is even channeled so that you can easily route your wiring without getting in the way of your alarm siren installation.
