Utility software to write serial number
The utility software is for writing serial number to printers in order to identify each printer.
Press �Set S/No.� to write the serial
number in the window.
�Get S/No.� shows the written
information through the interface if the
interface allows two-way communication.
The number is incremented every time
when the serial number is written, if Auto
Inc. is shown.
If (Auto Inc.) is not shown, auto
increment function is not active. You need
to press � Inc.� to increase the number.
From the menu �Set� => �Identification Configuration�, you can see a below window
Number of columns to use for
the identification is fixed at 10.
First Identification Mode:
Enter the format of data to
write to printer in accordance with the following two conditions below.
The format consists of �Characters� (like Printer) + �Numbers� (like 001) and the �Numbers� will be
incremented.
(�Character� part can be number as well.)
Start columns of Number:
Start columns of Number implies the digit number starting figures. (Count from the left).
For example, if this is 10, only last digit can be incremented.
IF this is 9, last 2 digits can be used for the number increment.
Number Length:
Number Length specifies the digit of the �Numbers� part
