Can anyone help me with any ideas as to why the cipherlab scanners will not connect?
Hello,
I have tried for 2 days with 2 different scanners to get them to connect so I can perform a physical inventory.
I've tried many different drivers, different com ports but still no luck?
I was able to get my metrologic to hook up but that scanner is bad shape.

Measuring only 122 x 56 x 26mm and weighing in at just 130gm (including batteries), the CPT8000 is both compact and lightweight, and provides over 100 hrs of normal use when used with alkaline cells (2 x AAA size). IR and IrDA communications is supported from the terminal, and RS232, USB (Virtual Comm. port) or modem via the 8000-CR communications cradle.
(Please note that the 8001 kits include rechargeable Li-ion Battery Packs and charging comms cradles).
