Rugged durability for inclement weather and harsh handling
The IT-10 has been designed for maximum durability and it can withstand a drop from 3.3 feet (1 meter) onto concrete. It is also dust and waterproof to level IP54 (International Standard IEC60529). The internal components are sealed inside extremely tough yet light magnesium inner shielding with the outer casing made of a durable plastic resin to give added protection. The LCD screen is set in a shock absorbent rubber mounting to resist the effects of hard impacts.

Large and high resolution VGA LCD for superb display clarity The IT-10 has a fine 3.7-inch transflective TFT color LCD that is capable of displaying VGA (640 x 480) giving 4 times the number of pixels as a conventional QVGA screen. This makes it ideal for displaying web-based applications that contain detailed images. The screen displays conventional QVGA applications without modification so you can continue to use software originally developed for less technically advanced PDAs. In addition, landscape mode is now also available to allow developers to design applications for a wider display. The backlight uses LEDs to reduce power consumption and improve the resistance to harsh impacts. Finally, because the screen uses a transflective LCD it provides high visibility in both indoor and outdoor environments whatever the lighting conditions are.
